Google, CafePress Struggling with Banned HD DVD Code

I don't usually cover stuff relating to Cafepress but I thought this was pretty interesting, and besides, I need to post more often.

Recently the hex numbers (09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0) for cracking HD DVDs was leaked onto the net. There was a user revolt at Digg over the whole thing.

Well even Google and CafePress are having to deal with the madness these numbers have caused. People have been trying to make shirts with the forbidden numbers on them and Cafepress tells them their shirts won't be viewed by the public.

Isn't a little late for this kind of nonsense? It's like trying to capture raindrops in a bucket to stop the flood.
